For Sarah Raven

In 2025 Sarah Raven asked me to create some pieces inspired by a favourite decorative vintage jug she had been given, and we embarked on a collaboration leading to a jug and a bowl and a flower frog which could be used together, or separately. The frog sits inside the base of the bowl, but also functions independently, and so could be used on a platter, or a mantlepiece, or as a table decoration. They are wheel thrown using stoneware clay…the bowl and the jug are decorated with green, blue and peach underglazes under a transparent glaze, and the frog is glazed in glossy white. This collection was made in the summer and the firings were timed to benefit from my solar energy and battery storage.
